Me.

Hello and welcome. I'm Milissa Sprecher. I am fortunate enough to call Sanibel and Captiva Islands my home. The past 15+ years of living on the islands have been a blessing. 

 

I love photographing people. They're my thing. Most of all, I love capturing how special this time is for each family. Each person has his or her own amazing personality; bringing that personality to life, with the camera, is the true artistry of a great photographer. Sometimes it's easy. Sometimes it's not. The special photograph that captures a special moment isn't a function of a thousand clicks, but simply one — at the right time and place.

 

Stylistically, I can often see the moment before it happens; probably just from being a mom of three amazing kids, you have to have ESP. I love the natural light here in Florida. Our spectacular sunsets. Our gorgeous blue skies and white sandy beaches. Above all, I thank God every day that I get to live in this awesome paradise He has created and live my life with my best friend (my husband John) and my three beautiful kids (McKenna, Jackson and Addison).
